Tools Hub

The Tools Hub hosts fast-reference utilities for The Legend of Mala Tokmachka players who already understand the basics but need a lookup mid-siege. Unlike long-form Guides, tools prioritize scannable tables and role tags you can check between waves.

Available tools

  • Module Reference — Weapons, structural blocks, power, radar, and repair modules with threat counters and priority notes.

When to use tools versus guides

Open a guide when you are learning a system for the first time — for example, how vertical expansion changes repair routing in Fortress Building. Open a tool when you know the system but forgot whether lasers prefer drones or missiles, or whether a module needs adjacent power.

Tools are preview-tagged until launch datamining confirms exact stats. Cells show role and priority rather than fabricated DPS numbers.

Workflow example between waves

Imagine you just lost half an upper deck to drones while ground guns handled armor fine. A guide tells you why layered AA matters; the Module Reference tells you what to buy next in ten seconds. That split keeps momentum during the between-wave window described in Repair and Resources.

  1. Identify killer threat from last wave.
  2. Open Module Reference threat lookup table.
  3. Cross-check preview tier in Weapons tier list.
  4. Commit spend before the timer ends.

Desktop and second-screen tips

Borderless windowed mode plus a phone bookmark works well for Steam titles. Load the tool page once before your session; static hosting means no login or API latency. If you use Steam overlay browser, pin the Module Reference URL after first visit.

Planned expansions after launch

Depending on community demand, we may add a wave-threat calendar or a build planner that exports a shopping list for between-wave upgrades. Those features will appear here and in Updates once validated.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do tools work offline?

The wiki is static HTML. Bookmark Module Reference once loaded if you play in borderless windowed mode beside a browser.

Are tool stats exact?

Not before launch. Tables emphasize roles and pairings; numeric stats update after verified gameplay.

Why no build calculator yet?

We are waiting for confirmed module costs. A calculator without real data would mislead players.

Can I suggest a tool?

After launch, note gaps when using the Module Reference and watch Updates for new utilities.

Do tools replace guides?

No. Tools complement Guides — read guides first, tools second.
